Udwayi Tours & Transfers cc was established in 1995 as a one man operation and has developed into a reliable and competent business in the South African Tourist industry. Udwayi Tours & Transfers has developed a young, dynamic and committed team that strongly believes in and practices our statement mission statement:

SOWETO

Shrouded in the myth and controversy, vibrant Soweto is a" city of surprise and contrast, of startling enterprise and of vigorous cultural Interaction. We visit the squatter camps, Baragwanath hospital, Mandela's home, Hector Peterson Memorial, Regina Mundi Church, Desmond Tutu's home and visit the informal settlement in Kliptown.


 

PRETORIA

Experience the all time high "Top of Africa" on the Carlton Centre, visit the Constitution Hill new home of the Constitution Court, time permitting passing Hillbrow en route then we visit the Market Theatre, Museum Africa, Newtown Cultural Precinct and The Mandela Bridge. Proceed to the party suburb of Melville and return via Emmarentia Gardens and Rosebank to your hotel.

 

GOLD REEF CITY

Johannesburg's own splendid theme park where the turn of the century mining town is brought to life in shops, hotels and fascinating exhibits. Take a trip underground to see how today's diggers operate and watch molten gold being poured into moulds. You're even free to take home a bar of gold - if you can carry it away single-handed.

 

LION & RHINO PARK
Duration: 2.00 hrs
Visit the Wonder cave and guests are transported in an open vehicle through the Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve, view incl, hippo, buffalo, lions, cheetah, wild dog and 20 species of antelope and much more.

 

HEIA SAFARI RANCH

In the Game Reserve you can find peace and tranquility by watching 22 varieties of game e.g. hippo, rhino, buffalo, wildebeests. For bird lovers 176 species have been recorded and much more.

 

LESEDI CULTURAL EXPERIENCE

Lesedi is a multi-cultural village set amongst the pristine bushveld and rocky hills. At Lesedi there are five traditional homesteads, the Xhosa, Pedi, Zulus, Ndebele and Basothos. Each family, peacefully living their traditional lives inhabit the homestead. These are unique experiences in themselves, where guest can share the excitement and warmth of rural African culture.

During this century some of the rarest and most exciting fossils of our human ancestors have been found only 45 min from Johannesburg in the Sterkfontein Valley. In December 1999, the Valley was declared a World Heritage Site, thus celebrating and protecting the Cradle of Humankind. Come tour these sites with our Anthropologists and gain a glimpse into the world of your ancestors, an experience that you will never forget.

Mpumalanga & Kruger National Park
The place where the sun rises - Every traveler's dream of Africa. A land of mountains splendor and wide horizons, waterfalls rock formation and caves, forests and plains and majestic scenery. See one of South Africa's natural wonders.

Along the Blyde River Canyon you'll find the most famous site; The Three Rondavels; mountains that look like traditional African huts. Other must see includes God's Window, Pilgrims Rest - South Africa's first mining town dating back to 1873, today a living museum preserved almost in entirety.

Mpumalanga offers a wildlife treasure chest in the Kruger National Park where lions, elephants, rhino, etc move freely through landscape unchanged over more than a century.
